Location

Hartpury (marked with the purple circle on the map) lies 6 miles to the north west of Gloucester. It has good links to the north via the M50 (7 miles away) and M5/M6/M42, to the south west via the M5 (9 miles away) and also to the M4 at Swindon (42 miles) and M40 at Oxford (59 miles).

Gloucester Station is 6 miles away and has mainline links to Paddington (2 hours).

Bristol Airport is 48 miles away and Birmingham Airport is 62 miles away.

Hartpury village is on the A417 direction Ledbury from the A40 Gloucester by-pass.

Driving direction north, there is a sharp left turn in the village. The Royal Exchange public house is on the left and Corse End Road is the next turning on the left. Buttersend Lane is the second turning on the right off Corse End Road, to the west of the village.

Barnfield House is the first house on the left as you enter Buttersend Lane. It is flanked by two staddle stones.

Barnfield House is one mile from the centre of Hartpury village.
