Description

Barnfield House was built in 1829 as an agricultural barn for Brickhouse Farm within the Canning Estate. Unusually for a barn, it sits in the middle of its grounds, some two hundred yards from the farm so has no properties overlooking it. It has uninterrupted views on all sides and looks out over beautiful Gloucestershire farmland in all directions.

It is a brick built cross-barn (which describes the plan view of the barn) and has retained many features from its agricultural days.

It was converted in 1990 and now has the benefit of:

      • Full double glazing
      • LPG central heating
      • Full monitored alarm system (including garage)
      • Water softener
      • Broadband Internet connection
      • Low maintenance garden
      • Extruded aluminium guttering and cast aluminium downpipes (no joins so no maintenance)
      • Immaculate decorative order
